100% Organic
“A cradle, as durable as possible...”
Our cradles are made of certified, 100% organic, unbleached cotton. Cotton, in other words, that has never seen a chemical. Much healthier for your baby.
The thread producer is an IMO certified operation that produces in compliance with the GOTS standard. The threads are woven in a Dutch weaving mill operating in compliance with Fair Wair norms.
The cradle hangs from an unpainted wooden frame (ash, FSC certified) using jute slings. The robust ropes are made of jute and the loops were split manually.
The hanging cradles are fitted with comfortable (8 cm thick) polyether mattresses. The removable and washable mattress ticking is also made of 100% organic cotton.
Finally, the heavenly canopy is made of 100% linen. Linen is a textile made from the fibres of the flax plant. It takes considerably less chemicals to grow flax than it does to grow cotton.
