From the ‘roof’

You can simply suspend your hanging cradle from wood or concrete ceilings with our cradle hook (please order the hook and plug separately).

On a Swinging Branch ®

Our Swinging Branch ® is the perfect solution if the ceiling is not an option, or when you simply think it’s a lovely finishing touch. Whatever the reason, the Swinging Branch ® is made of sturdy birch multiplex and is fixed to the wall. The cradle can swing, rotate and bounce from this branch.

You could taint the birch in your own preferred colour. Once your infant has outgrown the hanging cradle you could place a cot or bed underneath the branch and use it to suspend a lamp, musical mobile or mosquito net.

The Swinging Branch ® is also suitable for suspending the twin cradle.

In a ‘tipi’

Would you prefer not to drill holes into walls or ceilings and would you like to move the cradle from time to time, or even place it outside? Our tripod might be just the thing for you. The legs are made of massive ash wood, which is a particularly strong type of wood.

The legs are divisible, so easy to store. When your baby is a bit older you can convert the tripod into a tipi.

The standard measures 2.35 m in height, but you could easily shorten this yourself. On the floor, the tripod measures 1.20 m in circumference.

The tripod can be used for our twin cradle.

Kindekeklein hanging cradles

Guestbook

Hi Danielle,

Our daughter Isha has slept in her hanging cradle for more than nine months now. The first five months the cradle was effective in putting  her to sleep. Now, she can fall asleep on her own. We have fastened hooks to different places in the ceiling and the cradle is usually beside our bed. Nice and cosy.

And helpful when I feed her at night. In the morning she bounces up and down on the coil with great enthusiasm. We also use the cradle as a travel cot whenever we stay the night away from home. Soon, she'll have to sleep in a normal bed - when she can pull herself up into a sitting position. Then it'll be time to say goodbye to the little-baby stage, and to the cradle.

Regards,

Mieuw, Bart and Isha
